MS Outlook Express Setup
- Click on the tools menu then accounts
- Click Add on the right side at the top and select mail
- Display Name: Your Name
- Click Next
- E-mail Address: address@yourdomain.com
- Click Next
- My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
- Incoming mail server (POP3): yourdomain.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): yourdomain.com
- Click Next
- Acount Name: address@yourdomain.com if your setting up your main address you would use your hosting account username.
Password: This will be the password your set for the email address when you set it up in your hosting account control panel. If you setting up your mail account this will be your hosting account password.
Check Remember password if you don't want to enter your password each time.
DO NOT CHECK "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"
Click Next then Finish
Click on the account you just created then click Properties
Click the Servers tab
CHECK "My server requires authentication" at the bottom
Click the Advanced tab
Under Server Port Numbers Incoming server (POP3): 110
Under Server Port Numbers Outgoing server (SMTP): 25 If you ISP blocks access to port 25 you can use port 26.
Click OK to close that window.
Click Close to close that window.
Your new email address is now setup.
